Complete with a colorful tiger and "Tiger Meet of the Americas" markings on the tail, LtC James "Slider" Horton, 79th Fighter Squadron Commander, leads a 5-ship echelon formation as the jets deploy to Colorado for the Tiger Meet of the Americas exercise. The Inaugural Tiger Meet of the Americas was held at Buckley AFB, CO from 8-13 Aug. 2001 and brought together flying units from throughout North America that have a Tiger or large cat as their unit symbol.  The Tiger Meet of the Americas closely mirrors the NATO / Europe Tiger Meet in its goal of fostering camaraderie, teamwork and tactics familiarization.  (U.S. Air Force photo by Staff Sgt. Greg L. Davis) (Released)
