Caption:

One F-16 Fighting Falcon banks away from his wingman as they fly a Combat Air Patrol or CAP mission for NATO Operation Allied Force on May 3, 1999.  Operation Allied Force is the air operation against targets in the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia.  The Fighting Falcons flying the CAP missions provide air cover for other NATO aircraft flying the strike missions.  These Fighting Falcons are attached to the 510th Fighter Squadron, Aviano Air Base, Italy.
