An F-16A Falcon from the Royal Netherlands Air Force breaks away from a 100th Air Expeditionary Wing KC-135R Stratotanker from RAF Mildenhall U.K. on 31 Mar 99. While patroling the skies over Kosovo during Operation Allied Force, it is armed with AIM-9 missles for self protection and cluster bombs on the inboard stations to attack troop concentrations and nonhardened targets.  (U.S. Air Force photo by TSgt Brad Fallin)  (Released)
