AVIANO AIR BASE Italy -- A F-16 Fighting Falcon sits on a very chilly ramp after nearly six inches of snow accumulated here Feb. 21.  Other than on the Italian Alps, snow does not hang around long in Italy.  The area averages less than four inches of snowfall annually; the last significant snowfall was in December 2001.  (U.S. Air Force photo by Master Sgt.
