Stingers and Swamp Foxes

F-16 CJs from the 22nd Expeditionary Fighter Squadron, “Stingers,” originally from Spangdahlem Air Base, and the 157th EFS, “Swamp Foxes,” South Carolina Air National Guard, await takeoff clearance at a forward deployed location prior to a combat mission.  Both squadrons are currently assigned to the 379th Air Expeditionary Wing in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.  (U.S. Air Force photo by SMSgt Edward Snyder)
