ROYAL AIR FORCE LAKENHEATH, England (USAFENS) – Two new F-15E Strike Eagles taxi down the runway here Nov. 18. The 48th Fighter Wing received the first two of 10 new F-15Es bought under contract from the Boeing Corporation. The last time the wing received new aircraft was 1996. The E-model is the latest F-15 produced by Boeing and is the world's leading dual-role fighter, performing air-to-ground and air-to-air missions. (Photo by Senior Airman James Harper)
