ABOARD THE USS KITTY HAWK - (MAR. 19, 2001) -- A Fighter Squadron ONE FIVE FOUR (VF 154) "Black Knights"  F-14A Tomcat roars down catapult one during flight operations in the South China Sea aboard USS Kitty Hawk (CV 63). Kitty Hawk, America's only permanently forward deployed aircraft carrier got underway March 2 for a three and a half month routine spring underway period.
