At sea aboard USS George Washington (CVN 73) Nov. 27, 2003.  Mess Management Specialist Seaman Elvis Leonel-Martinez of Mamagua,Nicaragua  cleans the canopy of an F-14 Tomcat from the Fighter Squadron One One (VF 11) “Red Rippers,” on the flight deck. The ‘Red Rippers’ are the oldest continuously active squadron in the Navy.  The Norfolk, Va.-based carrier is conducting Composite Training Unit Exercise (COMPTUEX) in the Atlantic Ocean.  Official U.
