Caption:

A U.S. Air Force B-2A Spirit bomber approaches the refueling boom of a KC-135R Stratotanker as the two aircraft rendezvous over Alaska for an in-flight refueling on March 17, 1998.  The stealth bomber is participating in testing of modified bombs at the Stuart Creek Impact Area, near Fairbanks, Alaska.  The Spirit is deployed from the 509th Bomb Wing, Whiteman Air Force Base, Mont.  The Stratotanker is attached to the 168th Air Refueling Wing, Alaska Air National Guard, Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska.  DoD photo by Master Sgt.
