Squadron, Barksdale Air Force Base, La., watches as the right rear
landing gear is raised in to the B-52H. Maintenance troops with
varied specialties worked together to raise the B-52H using aircraft
jacks then troubleshoot and repair the aircraft's right rear landing
gear on the flightline at Diego Garcia Jan. 18, 1999. They are
deployed from the 20th Bomb Squadron, Barksdale Air Force Base, La.,
and 23rd Bomb Squadron, Minot Air Force Base, N.D., to Navy Support
Facility Diego Garcia, British Indian Ocean Territory, in support of
