OPERATION IRAQI FREEDOM -- A B-52 Stratofortress takes off with new equipment April 7. The mission was the first "real world" mission for a B-52 using a Litening II pod for laser-guided bomb delivery.  The aircraft and crew are part of the 457th Air Expeditionary Group at a forward-deployed location supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.
