 A-10 Thunderbolt II aircraft deployed with the74th Fighter Squadron Flying Tigers, Pope Air Force Base, North Carolina,  depart Al Jaber Air Base, Kuwait, on 19 March 1998.  The  74th FS flew missions out of Al Jaber Air Base, Kuwait and  provided coverage of the no-fly zone in Iraq in support of Southern Watch.
