Petty Officer 2nd Class Mark Agurrie signals the pilot of an AV-8B Harrier to taxi aboard the amphibious assault ship USS Tarawa (LHA 1) as the ship operates off the coast of Kuwait City on March 23, 1998.  Tarawa is deployed to the Persian Gulf in support of Operation Southern Watch, which is the U.S. and coalition enforcement of the no-fly-zone over Southern Iraq.  Agurrie is a Navy aviation boatswain's mate.  DoD photo by Petty Officer 2nd Class Chad McNeeley, U.S. Navy.
