At sea aboard USS Bataan (LHD 5) Feb. 24, 2003 -- Aviation Boatswain's Mate 1st Class William Lemmons uses hand signals to communicate with the pilot of an AV-8B Harrier assigned to the "Tigers" of Attack Squadron Five Four Two (VMA-542).  Bataan and embarked U.S. Marines are part of Amphibious Task Force-East (ATF-E) deployed in the Arabian Gulf in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.  U.S. Navy photo by Photographer's Mate 3rd Class John Taucher.  (RELEASED)
