The Arabian Gulf (Apr. 7, 2003) -- An AV-8B Harrier from the 24th
Marine Expeditionary Unit (24th MEU) Air Combat Element (ACE) commences
his ‘roll take off’ bound to engage targets over Iraq from
aboard the amphibious assault ship USS Nassau (LHA 4) in support of
Operation Iraqi Freedom. Operation Iraqi Freedom is the
multi-national coalition effort to liberate the Iraqi people, eliminate
Iraq's weapons of mass destruction, and end the regime of Saddam
