Onboard USS Wasp (LHD 1) in the Indian Ocean, April 11, 2004 – A Sailor from the amphibious assault ship USS Wasp (LHD 1) directs the AV-8B Harrier pilot, from the air combat element (ACE) of the 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit (Special Operations Capable) [22D MEU(SOC)], to move forward.  22D MEU(SOC) and Wasp are currently on deployment as part of Expeditionary Strike Group 2 (ESG 2) in the 5th Fleet area of responsibility.  U.S. Navy photo by Photographer’s Mate 3rd Class D.
