EAST CHINA SEA (Oct. 14, 2008) -- Senior Chief Aviation Boatswain's Mate (Handling) Juan Villones directs the launch of an AV-8B Harrier jet from Marine Attack Squadron (VMA 223) on the flight deck of the forward-deployed amphibious assault ship USS Essex (LHD 2).
