A pilot, deployed from the 41st Airlift Squadron, 43 Airlift Wing, Pope
Air Force Base, Fayetteville, N.C., flies a C-130E to pick up cargo and
passengers on a operation support mission on Aug. 4, 2002, in support
of Operation Enduring Freedom. Operation support missions are
flights from one point to another moving cargo and personnel. The
C-130Es do these missions regularly to ensure everyone supporting
Operation Enduring Freedom and all the supplies they need to make it
