Yokota Air Base, Japan (AFPN)- Senior Airman Chad Perry, a propulsion engine technician from the 374th Maintenance Squadron, removes a propeller spinner from the number 2 engine of a C-130 aircraft during routine maintenance inspection here. The spinner allows the air to flow over the propellers and help the engine cool down. Yokota AB is the primary airlift resource for Pacific Forces with an area of responsibility covering over 100 million miles. It provides ready forces and base operating support to guarantee US forward presence and crisis respone. (Photo by: MSgt Val Gempis)
