Hercules assigned to Fleet Logistics Squadron Five Three (VR- 53) at
Clark Field, Republic of the Philippines as part of Balikatan 2004.
This exercise is only one of a number of on-going activities under the
framework of Philippine/U.S. military security cooperation. Other
elements include assistance with comprehensive defense reform: security
assistance modules for counter terrorism training, helicopter night
capability training, intelligence fusion; subject matter expert
exchanges; international military education and training programs:
advice and support for logistics, engineering, equipment, maintenance
