OPERATION ENDURING FREEDOM (AFIE) -- A C-5 Galaxy aircraft from the 9th Airlift Squadron, Dover Air Force Base, Del., takes off bound for a forward Operation Enduring Freedom location Jan 7. It carried members and equipment of the South Carolina Air National Guard's 169th Fighter Wing. This group of airmen was the first in the SCANG to deploy to an overseas OEF location. The 169th Fighter wing is the only unit in the Air National Guard that flies F-16CJ fighters. (U.S. Air Force photo by Staff Sgt. Robert E. Minder)
