U.S Air Force personnel push a pallet of War Reserve Materials off of a K-loader into a C-17 Globemaster III at an operating base in Southwest Asia on Feb. 12, 1998. Members of the 815th Air Mobility Squadron are operating a Tanker Airlift Control Element, commonly called a TALCE, to control all military airlift traffic in and out of their deployed location in support of Operation Southern Watch which is the U.S. and coalition enforcement of the no-fly-zone over Southern Iraq.  The War Reserve Materials will be airlifted to other locations in the operating area.  The 615th and 815th are deployed from Travis Air Force Base, Calif.  The Globemaster is attached to the 17th Airlift Squadron, Charleston Air Force Base, S.C.  DoD photo by Staff Sgt.
