Airmen from the 151st Air Refueling Wing in Salt Lake City assist in the arrival of a C-17 Globemaster III from the Mississippi Air National Guard's 172nd Airlift Wing Aug. 9. The C-17 transported equipment used by Substrata Camera Services of Knoxville, Tenn., from its location in Topeka, Kan., to assist in rescue operations for six stranded Utah miners. The equipment will allow rescuers the ability to position a camera in the mine and assess the situation from a 360-degree angle. It will allow rescue crews to have a better idea of conditions inside the collasped mine. (U.S. Air Force photo/Master Sgt. Burke Baker)
