Globemaster III on the Johnston Atoll flightline for evacuation to
Hickam AFB, Hawaii, Aug 17, 1999, to escape Huricane Dora
evacuation. Nearly 1,100 evacuees arrived at Hickam Tuesday morning
after the U.S. Air Force arranged airlift out of Johnston Island where
hurricane Dora was to come ashore. A total of five U.S. Air Force cargo
flights from Alaska, Guam and Hawaii deployed to the tiny island to
