Three hundred Rangers from the 82nd Airborne Division at Fort Bragg, N.C. ,  jump from a C-17 aircraft assigned to the 15th Airlift Squadron, Charleston Air Force Base, S.C., on Aug. 9, 2001, as the feature activity of a five-day convention.   The convention is held yearly in different locations in honor of and respect for veterans of past and present.  With the help of three Charleston C-17s, members of the 82nd Airborne Division Assoc. and military members from Charleston Air Force Base, viewed all the troops deploying from the skies above the base.  (USAF photo by Senior Airman Sarayuth Pinthong)
