Three hundred Rangers from the 82nd Airborne Division at Fort Bragg,
N.C. , jump from a C-17 aircraft assigned to the 15th Airlift
Squadron, Charleston Air Force Base, S.C., on Aug. 9, 2001, as the
feature activity of a five-day convention. The convention
is held yearly in different locations in honor of and respect for
veterans of past and present. With the help of three Charleston
C-17s, members of the 82nd Airborne Division Assoc. and military
members from Charleston Air Force Base, viewed all the troops deploying
