At sea aboard USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN 71) Dec. 5, 2002 -- An E-2C Hawkeye surveillance aircraft from the "Bear Aces" of Carrier Airborne Early Warning Squadron One Two Four (VAW-124) prepares for launch during routine flight operations. The "Bear Aces" are a part of Carrier Air Wing Eight (CVW-8) and embarked aboard Roosevelt.  The nuclear-powered aircraft carrier is currently underway in the Atlantic Ocean for Tailored Ship Training Availability (TSTA).  U.S. Navy photo by Photographer's Mate Airman Todd Flint.  (RELEASED)
