The Arabian Gulf (Jun. 25, 2003) -- An E-2C Hawkeye from the
"Wallbangers" of Carrier Airborne Early Warning Squadron One
Seventeen (VAW-117) approaches the flight deck in preparation for an
arrested landing aboard USS Nimitz (CVN 68). Nimitz Carrier
Strike Force and Carrier Air Wing Eleven (CVN-11) are deployed in
support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Operation Iraqi Freedom is
the multi-national coalition effort to liberate the Iraqi people,
eliminate Iraq's weapons of mass destruction, and end the regime of
