Pacific Ocean (May 28, 2003) - An E-2C Hawkeye assigned to the "Sunkings" of Carrier Airborne Early Warning Squadron One One Six (VAW-116) comes in for a recovery aboard the aircraft carrier USS Constellation (CV 64) with one engine after having an in-flight emergency. The E-2C Hawkeye landed on the Constellation in prefect textbook fashion. VAW-116 is currently returning from a deployment with the Constellation Battle Group in which it supported Operations Southern Watch, Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom.
