Persian Gulf (Feb. 9, 2005) -- Aviation Electrician's Mate Airman Ryan Gerber, assigned to the "Seahawks" of Carrier Airborne Early Warning Squadron One Two Six (VAW-126), signals to pilots aboard an E-2C Hawkeye during pre-flight checks on the flight deck aboard the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier Harry S. Truman (CVN 75). Carrier Air Wing Three (CVW-3) is embarked aboard Truman and is providing close air support and conducting intelligence surveillance and reconnaissance over Iraq.
