PERSIAN GULF (March 5, 2008) -- Lt. j.g. Curtis Reiss, left, Lt. Cmdr. Matthew Duffy and Lt. Cheryl Zeiss, all assigned to the "Seahawks" of Carrier Airborne Early Warning Squadron (VAW) 126, gather radar analysis data inside the fuselage of an E-2C Hawkeye during flight operations aboard the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman (CVN 75). Using sophisticated radar monitoring systems, crewmembers are able to expand the range carriers are able monitor contacts during flight operations. Truman and embarked Carrier Air Wing (CVW) 3 are deployed supporting Operations Iraqi Freedom, Enduring Freedom and maritime security operations.
