Suez Canal (Jul. 24, 2002) -- USS John F. Kennedy (CV 67) passes under the Japan-Egypt Friendship Bridge while the aircraft carrier transits the Suez Canal during the early stages of her return home. Kennedy and her embarked Carrier Air Wing Seven (CVW-7) are completing a regularly scheduled deployment in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, and were recently relieved of duties in the Arabian Gulf region by the USS George Washington (CVN 73).  U.S. Navy photo by Photographer’s Mate 1st Class Jim Hampshire.  (RELEASED)
