Pacific Ocean (August 4, 2003) -- A CH-46D Sea Knight assigned to the
"Gunbearers" of Helicopter Support Squadron Eleven (HC-11) Detachment
Eight (Det. 8), passes in front of the guided missile destroyer USS
Lassen (DDG 82) while transferring supplies from the fast combat
support ship USS Sacramento (AOE 1) to the nuclear powered aircraft
carrier USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70). The Vinson Carrier Strike Group is
currently on an extended deployment in the western Pacific, during an
extensive maintenance period for the forward deployed USS Kitty Hawk
(CV 63) currently in dry dock in Yokosuka, Japan. U.S. Navy Photo by
