OKINAWA, Japan -- A CH-46E Sea Knight helicopter pilot with
Marine Medium Helicopter Squadron-262 Reinforced, currently attached to
the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, flies along the Okinawa coastline
on the way to Ie Shima to practice field carrier landing June 2. Pilots
have to do five shore-based landings, five ship landings and five
landings both in high-light level and low-light conditions to obtain
carrier qualification, which authorizes them to carrying troops and
