during a weapons transfer with the ammunition ship USNS Shasta (T-AE
33). John C. Stennis and its embarked Carrier Air Wing Nine
(CVW-9) have been conducting combat missions in support of Operation
Enduring Freedom and are en route to her homeport in San Diego,
