A CH-47 Chinook Helicopter moves into position to load soldiers, attached and assigned to the 2/505th Parachute Infantry Regiment (PIR), for Operation Unified Resolve in the Nangahar Province of Afghanistan near the Pakistan Border, June 21, 2003.  The purpose of the mission was to establish points and egress routes along the Afghan and Pakistan border to distrupt cross border threat activity.  (U.S. Army photo by Sgt.
