At sea aboard USS Essex (LHD 2) Jun. 17, 2002 -- A CH-53E Super Stallion helicopter attached to the “Heavy Haulers” of Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron Four Six Two  (HMH-462) lands aboard the Essex.  Additional helicopters and crews  recently joined the ranks of the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) Special Operations Capable (SOC) Aviation Combat Element (ACE) aboard the Essex.  U.S. Marine Corps photo by Sgt.
