Atlantic Ocean (May 08, 2005) - An MH-53E Sea Dragon helicopter, assigned to the "Vanguards" of Helicopter Mine Countermeasures Squadron One Four (HM-14), launches from the flight deck of the amphibious transport dock ship USS Trenton (LPD 14) for a medical evacuation (MEDEVAC). The Trenton and embarked Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron Two Six (HSC-26) performed a dangerous night search and rescue (SAR) mission, rescuing an 83-year old civilian, from a 41-foot sailboat caught in heavy seas.
