Gulf of Mexico (Sept. 3, 2005) -- A U.S. Navy MH-53E Sea Dragon
helicopter lifts two 500-gallon bladders full of fresh drinking water
for transport from the flight deck of the amphibious assault ship USS
Bataan (LHD 5), to those in need on the Gulf Coast. Bataan has been off
the Gulf Coast providing relief efforts since Hurricane Katrina hit the
coast. The Navy's involvement in the Hurricane Katrina humanitarian
assistance operations is led by the Federal Emergency Management Agency
(FEMA), in conjunction with the Department of Defense. U.S. Navy photo
