Persian Gulf (Feb. 2, 2005) -- Air Department Catapult Shooters take cover as an F/A-18C Hornet, assigned to the "Gunslingers" of Strike Fighter Squadron One Zero Five (VFA-105), is launched off of the flight deck aboard the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman (CVN 75). Carrier Air Wing Three (CVW-3) is embarked aboard Harry S. Truman and is providing close air support and conducting intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance missions over Iraq.
