Wilmington, N.C. (Apr. 16, 2005) -- The Lead and Opposing Solo F/A-18
Hornets, assigned to the U.S. Navy flight demonstration team, the "Blue
Angels," perform the "mirror pass" in front of the crowd at the 2005
Coastal Carolina Air Show in Wilmington, N.C. The Blue Angels fly the
F/A-18 Hornet, performing approximately 30 maneuvers during the aerial
demonstration lasting over an hour. This year's air show showcased
civilian and military aircraft from the Nation's armed forces, which
provided many flight demonstrations and static displays. U.S. Navy
