USS Carl Vinson (June 25, 2005) -- A member of the waist catapult crew
moves to a safe location after installing the holdback bar into the
catapult shuttle in preparation for the launch of an F/A-18C Hornet
assigned to the "Argonauts" of Strike Fighter Squadron One Four Seven
(VFA-147) on the flight deck aboard the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier
USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70). The Carl Vinson Carrier Strike Group is
currently deployed to the Persian Gulf conducting operations in support
of multi-national forces in Iraq. Vinson will end its deployment with a
homeport shift to Norfolk, Va., and commence a three-year refuel and
