Pacific Ocean (March 22, 2006) -- An F/A-18C Hornet assigned to Strike Fighter Squadron One Five One (VFA-151), launches off the flight deck aboard the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72). Lincoln and Japanese Maritime Self-Defense Force (JMSDF) ships are conduct a passing exercise (PASSEX) in the Western Pacific. Lincoln spent three days conducting exercises with JMDSF and took part in an officer exchange program as part of a passing exercise.
