The VMFA-112 F/A-18 Hornet, known also as 'double nuts,' is proudly displayed in front of Meacham Airport's Vintage Flying Museum where the 3rd Annual Cowtown Warbird Roundup was held in Fort Worth, Texas, Aug. 12. MAG-41 commanding officer and pilot of double nuts, Col. Juergen 'Baron' Lukas, said of the interaction between the veterans present and his active-duty Marines, this may be the first time that these Vietnam veterans could talk with someone who understands their point of view and that have shared similar experiences. From one generation to the next, this can do nothing but help Marines who are currently involved in multiple deployments in support of the Global War on Terror. Photo by Sgt. Joel A. Chaverri
