Arabian Sea (Oct. 15, 2006) - A F/A-18C assigned to the "Knighthawks" of Strike Fighter Squadron One Three Six (VFA-136) tests its flare countermeasure system before heading into Afghanistan on a Close Air Support mission. VFA-136 is part of Carrier Air Wing One (CVW-1) embarked aboard the nuclear powered aircraft carrier USS Enterprise (CVN 65). Enterprise and CVW-1 are currently on a scheduled six-month deployment in support of the Maritime Security Operations and the global war on terrorism. U.S. Navy by Lt. Peter Scheu (RELEASED)
