PERSIAN GULF (May 28, 2007) -- Aviation Ordnanceman 2nd Class Daniel Porter checks an AIM-9 Sidewinder missile for proper mounting on an F/A-18C Hornet, from the "Blue Diamonds" of Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 146, aboard Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS John C. Stennis (CVN 74) prior to flight operations. John C. Stennis Carrier Strike Group is currently conducting operations in support of the global war on terrorism and participating in an Expeditionary Strike Force Exercise consisting of three Strike Groups: John C.
