The Mediterranean Sea (Mar. 14, 2003) -- Aviation Boatswain's Mates direct an F/A-18C Hornet from the "War Party" of Strike Fighter Squadron Eight Seven (VFA-87) into launching position on the flight deck aboard the aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN 71). Roosevelt and Carrier Air Wing Eight (CVW-8) are currently on deployment in the Mediterranean Sea conducting missions in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
