The Arabian Gulf (Mar. 28, 2003) -- An Aviation Boatswain's Mate
directs an F/A-18 Hornet onto one of four steam powered catapults
aboard USS Harry S. Truman (CVN 75) before launching it from the flight
deck. Truman and her embarked aircraft are deployed in support of
Operation Iraqi Freedom, the multi-national coalition effort to
liberate the Iraqi people, eliminate Iraq's weapons of mass
destruction, and end the regime of Saddam Hussein. U.S. Navy
