Philippine Sea (Jun. 2, 2003) -- An F/A-18C Hornet from the "Black Knights" of Marine Strike Fighter Squadron Three One Four (VMFA 314) makes the first arrested landing following a recently applied non-skid landing area in Apra Harbor, Guam. The Carl Vinson Carrier Strike Force has been extended on deployment in the Western Pacific, while Kitty Hawk is conducting scheduled maintenance at her forward-deployed operating location in Yokosuka, Japan.
