The Arabian Gulf (Jun. 25, 2003) -- A Nimitz crewmember
prepares an F/A-18 Hornet for launch on one of four steam driven
catapults on the flight deck aboard USS Nimitz (CVN 68). Nimitz
Carrier Strike Force and Carrier Air Wing Eleven (CVN-11) are deployed
in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Operation Iraqi Freedom is
the multi-national coalition effort to liberate the Iraqi people,
eliminate Iraq's weapons of mass destruction, and end the regime of
