Aboard USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70) Sept. 14, 2003 -- F/A 18C Hornets from the "Argonauts" of Strike Fighter Squadron One Four Seven (VFA-147) are positioned for launch from the waist catapults on the flight deck of the aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70) during Carrier Air Wing Nine's (CVW-9) fly off.  The Carl Vinson Carrier Strike Group (CSG) is returning home, to the West Coast this week, following an eight-month deployment to the Western Pacific in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.  U.S. Navy photo by Photographer's Mate Airman Bridgette Beaudion.  (RELEASED)
